DESCRIPTION:Parents’ coffee hour- Online peer support for parents of children with special needs \n\nHas anyone asked you lately how you’re really doing? \nWelcome to Parents’ Coffee Hour\, Leijonaemot’s new English-speaking online peer support group for parents of children with special needs. \nParenting a child with special needs can sometimes feel lonely. In this group\, you can connect with other parents who understand the joys\, challenges\, and everyday realities of your family life. Join us to share your experiences\, listen to others\, and find support in a warm and welcoming environment. \nYou are not alone- we are here for you. \n\nMeeting dates in autumn 2026\n\nThursday 2 October 2026\, 9:30–10:30 (Klick here to join)\nWednesday 18 November 2026\, 18:00–19:00 (Klick here to join) \n\n\nHow to participate\nThe meetings will be held online via Microsoft Teams. You can join using a computer\, tablet or smartphone. \nTo help create a safe and confidential atmosphere for everyone\, we recommend joining from a quiet private space. Using headphones or earphones is also encouraged so that all participants can feel comfortable sharing their experiences. We also encourage participants to keep their cameras on for at least part of the meeting\, as this helps create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. \n\nWho is the group for?\nThe group is open to parents of children with special needs who would like to meet other parents\, share experiences\, and receive peer support in English. \nWe look forward to meeting you! \n\n
